The Come Back :-)
Oh yes, it’s a pity for the people who were happy till now, since I wasn't making a scratch at this place. Sorry dudes, I am back in action after a scheduled break. I was feeling odd seeing the dyonara sorry sayonara post daily on the sheet. Ethana naal da tata katauva...
It’s been busy and enjoying for me here in Chennai. The climate in the evening is bit cold and perfectly suits my long ride in the new bike. Apart from these, the moment I enter my home Kolangal, Selvi or Manaivi gives me a warm welcome and makes me feel at home. The Tamil TV channels and the other things specific to Tamil nadu takes me back in delight where contrast I remember the lonely days at Chicago.
After coming back to Chennai watched couple of movies. Not a single movie was to the mark. Every time I go to a movie with zeal, it totally disappoints me. First Aadhi, as said in Kumudam magazine, it’s a huge blow for Vijay for acting stereo type movies. The movie has nothing than the old movie recap in a new title.
Next was Rang de basanti. There was a huge hype given for this very normal movie. When I was in the theatre seeing the banners, I just thought it’s going to mind blowing. But after watching the film, came out with a headache and my hairs were standing like antenna. May be I am not that level to understand what the director wants to convey. But one thing was striking to me, Mudalvan, Indian, Gentleman, Ayudha ezhuthu spoke more on the subject which Rang de basanti tried to speak in the movie as core issue. Only thing appreciative was the screen play with old and new characters. Yes, agreed we need more historic hero’s like Bhagat singh, Bose...to make India a great nation. But as a movie, it was a total let down.
This week latest release Kalvanin Kadhali shortly called as KK was an utter crap. I think S.J.Surya can better stop coming in the screen and concentrate as before in the back ground. There was not a single scene were his dialogue delivery was good. Kathina mattum podhuma Surya, konjam pesaratha uzhunga pesunga, poriyave matengrathu. His high glossy make up makes me feel as if I have come to old koothu drama, where the stage actor acting as Lord Krishna would apply the blue color makeup to the core with shiny chumkees. The movie’s only said plus point is Nayanthara. Dudes don't misconceive as I am appreciating here for her acting. No way!
The above is the grievance of a common film-goer, who loves to watch movies with a difference. But kollywood did not fulfill the hopes. I hope the under production projects satisfy the hungry Tamil film lovers who are waiting for a good film to be watched for this season.
