RAAM

The movie Raam directed by Aamir is a movie that explains the mother-son affection in a different dimension. The castings are Jeeva as hero, Gajala as heroine, Saranya as hero's mother. The movie has been taken as a suspense thriller. Aamir the director of Mounam pesiyathe has proved once again his natural touch in the movie. The movie has the shadows of the movie Nanda. This may be due to the director has previously worked as a associate with director Bala. But then too the way the director had taken the movie is appreciable. There is no place that you feel bored. The screenplay shows that the director had done lot of preparation & homework.

The hero Jeeva has nothing to do with dialogue. Maximum he would have spoken a one-page script. But still he makes an impression in your mind. The body language & his action are good. He has lot of scope to improve in other areas. The next cast in the movie who really needs a pat is Vazhavandhan. The person who has done the character is a new face but has done extremely good with his sharp dialogue deliveries. He has performed as a comedian in the movie & has exhibited his Madurai slang with his dialogues in proper proportions. All other casts have done their jobs properly.

The music is by Yuvan Shankar raja. The tunes & the background scores are excellent. The music & the cinematography have been very good supporting feature's for the success of the movie. The movie may not have new storyline but the way it has been taken is good & needs applause.

Sorry boss I differ...this movie is one of the worst I saw in recent times. Except for the Vazhavanthan charachter, the movie is a trash.
