Vallavan...Noooooooo...!!

[Courtesy:www.home.no]

Personally I don't like Silambarasan a.k.a Simbhu, due to the fact that he tries to show off too much. There is a dialogue in the movie Pudupettai where Dhanush tries to show his pride as "ஏய் நான் தான்! I believe that this is perfectly applicable to Simbhu. He might be talented but that doesn't mean that he knows everything. I read in one of his interview or as a gossip that he has said like he was the one who directed the movie Manmadhan but still in title card a different director name was posted. Why the heck!!

Vallavan was the only Tamil movie which I watched in Diwali damakas. The movie was so much hyped by everybody and it was taken for such a long period. Promotions on the movie were like "Simbhu doing the editing every night in his home to fasten the screenplay". Nayanthara in her interview "Simbhu is so talented and every stroke of the movie would be a delight. The movie was taken with utmost diligence by Simbhu". To add more spice one more, tagged around was "Love affair between Nayanthara and Simbhu". My god...Save us!!

The movie was just a repeatu of Padayapa and nothing else. A girl had this strong desire to marry a guy and she takes revenge on him when he goes with another girl. For this ctrl + c story, I feel this hoopla was unnecessary. Adding to this base line, few college scenes + sentiments + two fight sequences + Punch dialogues + few good songs + three colorful heroines and our great Simbhu.

The song "Loosu penne" was really good to hear. I was thinking this would be picturized with good steps. But he has done some "Yoo Yoo" stuff with few glossy females around him. Yuvan, Sandhya and Santhanam have done their roles well. But Nayanthara has also done her role well [Catch my point;-0]. Reema, please no more characters on screen like this. One question to you was the face with makeup or without makeup. The movie can be seen with a free ticket + 10$ for the interval expense :-)

She is back :-(

Really don't know what to do !$%!

I am here in Chicago for quite some time. During the mid of November one day I was just coming back from office. I was bit tired and was just feeble. Suddenly she came in a flash. I saw her for the first time. I couldn't resist myself and was feeling glad. This was my first experience to see her. As days passed by I started seeing her frequently. Slowly my relation started with her and met her day-after-day. More...

The Departed

[Courtesy: cinemaemcena.com; Click snap for a blow up]

Every Friday we all get this weekend mood. Similarly I get the night show movie mood on Fridays. This happens almost all the weekends, whether in U.S or India, the urge is same. It doesn’t subside due to the geographical differences. But due to the tour schedules I had couple of weeks before; I did not visit the theatre for a month. The irony is, mostly alternate days I would be watching movies in DVD, still watching in the theatre has a special interest in me.

This week I went for “The Departed”, though the “Guardian” was hitching in the back of the mind. The movie crewed with few top guns like Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg …. The movie was also rated good at rottentomatoes as 95-92%. The story is about two moles swapped into the two opposite gangs. One is the cop gang and another is the underworld gang. What happens to two and when each one has to identify who they are is the main theme, around which the interesting play was built. Decaprio has done excellently his role with his vivid facial reactions on tensed situations and during the scenes where the gang leader questions him for his identity. Damon too has done his role but sometimes we get a feeling in his expressions that he is doing his debut film. The main hero to be said is Jack Nicholson who has nearly taken the complete movie under his flamboyant acting. Overall the movie is good to watch and has good nail biting sequences.

On an unrelated side note watched the original Telugu version of Vijay upcoming movie Pokiri. I assume that it’s going to be a massive hit and the ardent fans of Vijay are going to relish every inch of the movie. Mahesh Babu is the hero and seems to be a Telugu version of Vijay himself .The main question is how our Prabhu Deva who is directing the Tamil version is going to maintain the tempo similar to its original version. The comedy is hopeless in the Telugu version and wish it would rectified in the remake. If it’s going to be scene by scene remake then its one more movie for Vijay which is going to run for 100 miles. Naaku Telungu Telusu Babu...

Yahoo Mail Beta !!

[Click for a blow up;]

Last week sometime I was prompted to upgrade my Yahoo mail to new beta version. I was pretty sure something would be in the enriched form to keep them in the race with other mega giants especially Google. The faith wasn't disappointed. The web yahoo is replica version of Microsoft Outlook client and done exactly similar fashion with glossy look. It was really awesome to see the features and easy mailing facility. It has almost all the features of Outlook including the Inbox, Archive, Personal folder [Yeah...only on the web] and other simple drag tech.

I wonder such competitions between the big giants makes more and more easy for the web users especially the novice users. Thus, enabling swift reach of technology to unexplored lands. As one among the users group, excited to see such enhancements. Amazing stuff... Keep going monsters.

In New Attire!
